This time of the year is particularly busy for the emergency services.

As you go on your school holidays, I would like to remind you that the school and I expect only the highest standards of behaviour from you.

Unfortunately, a small number of young people sometimes cause upset in communities at this time of year. Please remember that this can be very distressing to the old or the vulnerable.

Also remember that a number of ‘tricks’ or types of behaviour can be against the law. There are extra patrols on in this area for the next few weeks and they will deal with people breaking the law or causing a nuisance. Don’t let it be you.
